It wasn't too long ago that we were all clamouring to hear new material from Tom Vek - 2011's 'Leisure Seizure' laying claim to one of the most anticipated records of the century thus far. (And actually pretty decent, considering.) He's now launching a new project with Dirty Projectors' Olga Bell, with their intriguing debut Nothankyou single coming out on the ace Moshi Moshi label next week.

Vek's strongly electronic sound appears to be the driving force of Nothankyou but Bell's experimental nature also comes through suitably. Although admittedly this double A-side single is not necessarily a huge indicator of the rest of their catalogue, considering its own diversity - 'Know Yourself' sounding a bit like Micachu & The Shapes, and 'Oyster' bearing some reminiscence to AlunaGeorge. Morethankyou.

'Know Yourself'/'Oyster' is out on 5th August. Find more info at notnothankyou.tumblr.com.
