Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' is probably one of the few #1 singles we've ever written about here on FADED GLAMOUR - it's just topped the chart for the fourth week in a row. 'Rather Be' made an immediate impression when we first heard the track back in December. Part of the reason for that, and its continued success, is Jess Glynne's impressive guest vocal work. Now she's stepped out for her debut solo effort, 'Home', which is likely to appeal to the 'Rather Be' crowd.
'Home' is shrouded in a certain darkness from the very start, while sharing an intriguingly string-heavy influence with 'Rather Be'. Glynne's vocals here are again as arresting as they are sultry, and it's unsurprising she was also asked to guest on Route94 track, 'My Love', which you can also listen to below. If her songs can continue to match her vocal talent then we can expect big things from Jess Glynne. For now, it'll be one song at a time.
