Fair play to the people working on Sasha Siem's debut album for this timely preview, via closing track 'Valentine'. We've been meaning to write about the London-based artist for a long time now, and this seems a good a time as any, with said release 'Most Of The Boys' due out in early March. Having already won several classical music awards, Siem's now moving slightly more into the mainstream - her music to be filed alongside the orchestral-inspired efforts of the likes of Patrick Wolf and Regina Spektor. Whether you received Guinness flavour crisps as your Valentine's Day present like I did, or didn't get anything at all, perhaps Siem's intricate offering could be of service.
