It's been too long since we last posted about Irish duo Young Wonder, having highlighted their brilliant rework of Black Light Dinner Party's 'We Are Golden' back in 2013. Young Wonder's latest track 'Enchanted' lives up to their name - an electro-pop tune imbued with a sense of wide-eyed optimism.
The Purity Ring comparison is perhaps an obvious one, with the female vocals and electronic basis, but it feels as appropriate as ever. 'Enchanted' is at its best when Young Wonder embraces its anthemic nature but that's not to say that the slower elements feel out of place - indeed, the build up makes the bustling electronics all the more sweet.
