I was going to launch into some sort of tenuous diatribe regarding British royalty and new outfit THRONES, but all you really need to know is that they're a three piece that split their time between London and Reading. Listen to their compelling debut track 'Hands' below, with its shades of The 1975.
Led by Lonnie Storey, who has made some minor waves as a solo artist, THRONES also comprises of James Carragher and Tom Minter. On the evidence of 'Hands', they're aspiring to a brand of anthemic indie similar to Kodaline and the aforementioned numerically focussed Manchester band. THRONES will presumably hoping for a similar level of success, and 'Hands' is a promising start.
