Following the release of Bleachers' excellent 2014 debut album 'Strange Desire', they got some pals together to record covers of each of the tracks, releasing the compilation as 'Terrible Thrills Vol. 2'. Follow-up album 'Gone Now' dropped in 2017, and the band are repeating the trick for a limited edition vinyl series - sadly all four releases are sold out already. However, thanks to frontman Jack Antonoff's encouragement, you can listen to the debut 'Terrible Thrills Vol. 3' release, featuring Mitski, below.

Year In Review: Ten Of The Best Albums Of 2018

Rajan here. It's been a tough ask to cut down my favourite albums of 2018, with excellent records by the likes of Beach House, Father John Misty, Janelle Monae, Jeff Tweedy and Boygenius just missing out on the top ten below. Tracks from these albums do however make it onto a Spotify playlist, alongside my other favourite songs of 2018, so check that out after you've read the list of ten of the best albums to come out last year below.

It's hard not to become a tad jaded as a music blogger. Especially one that's been doing this for ten years now. TEN YEARS. But the thrill of listening to incred new music is still a huge draw for me, and hopefully will be for some time yet. Which is why I take a punt on listening to tracks like Mitski's 'Your Best American Girl'. And it has rewarded me muchly.
