Saam Das // @saamFG // Contact details
Saam is the founder and editor of FADED GLAMOUR. He juggles working as a minion in a London university with handling the blog's many facets, from web design to answering the emails. He does all of that quite badly so thanks you for your patience and continued interest.

Simon Opie // Band // altrock(at)fadedglamour.co.uk
Simon has a music addiction of long standing. He has tried everything from DJ Format to Orange Goblin but has never found a cure. Even playing in a band and performing to an audience of 2 somewhere in Clapham hasn't destroyed his passion. Favourite album of all time is currently Spiritualized's 'Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space'.

Lauren Johnson-Ginn // @laurenjginn // Blog
Lauren is an English Literature graduate who now works as a junior editor but still doesn’t quite understand semicolons. She enjoys visiting the cinema, reading comics and watching inordinate amounts of TV. Favourite films include 'From Dusk Till Dawn', 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World' and 'Pan’s Labyrinth', and TV-wise she’ll watch anything written by Joss Whedon.

Rajan Lakhani //
A child of the Britpop era, Rajan enjoys all kinds of music, except house which he thinks has no interesting features whatsoever! His favourite artists are Suede, David Bowie and Weezer and the first album he ever got was Radiohead’s 'OK Computer'. His main passion outside music is sport, particularly football and cricket.

Jack Thomson // @hollywoodverb // Website // Blog
Jack is a music enthusiast and frequent gig goer working in the marketing department of a UK record label. He's always wanted to be in a hugely successful band, but his ambitions far exceed his talents, so he's taken to writing about new music instead.

- Voted 22nd Best Music Blog in the 2006 BT Digital Music Awards. Just one place behind Lemar.
- Saam was invited to be one of the BBC's influential "tastemakers" for the Sound Of 2010 poll and also helped judged several of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competitions.

(Words by Saam Das)

Once upon a time, I was bored and decided that it might be a good idea to start up a music blog. Despite absolutely sod all knowledge of what to do. That was Keep Hope Inside. And that was 2006.

Fast forward a few years and Keep Hope Inside became FADED GLAMOUR, also supplementing the music writing with a new found passion for film and television.. Since the change, I've even introduced new writers and the blog will hopefully continue onto bigger and better things.

We showcase new artists, rave about trailers, giveaway mp3s, review films, highlight underappreciated bands, moan about the telly, do podcasts, run competitions and so much more. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
