The signature sound of Dog Is Dead has garnered them a trusty following, and an excellent live reputation due to their brilliant festival performances. Touted by critics as stars in waiting (and one of our tips for 2011), their debut album finds them facing quite the challenge. According to the band, this long player is the crowning touch of their combined experiences, and it was crux for them to write in this anecdotal style. The 2012 Camden Crawl draws ever closer, kicking off this Friday with a party at Koko, headlined by Death In Vegas but also featuring the likes of Funeral Suits. The real party begins on Saturday however, as a mass of bands play across dozens of venues in the NW1 area, along with other events such as comedy and spoken word. Day 1 of my first ever Camden Crawl didn't start off especially well, when I discovered there would be severe delays on my tube journey in.
