Somewhat unexpectedly (yet brilliantly), Welsh trio The Joy Formidable have been chosen as Muse's European tour support across their arena dates in the UK, as well as in Spain and France. All that ahead of their second album ('Wolf's Law') which comes out in January, from which we have another new track - listen to 'This Ladder Is Ours' below.
The newest song follows the free download of title track 'Wolf's Law' and comeback single 'Cholla'. The latter is disappointingly not about the tasty Jewish bread and, on a related note, is also pretty stale. (I'm not sure how good I'm feeling about that pun.)
Pulsating, string-laden new track 'This Ladder Is Ours' has reignited my vigour for the forthcoming record - strangely enough by sounding like it'd fit in nicely on the debut album, 'The Big Roar'. Listen to the new song below, along with 'Cholla'. We'll call that two wins and a draw so far, and 'Wolf's Law' is already looking set to be one of the impressive albums of next year.
