It's coming upto six months since we first mentioned night-pop duo Alpines, who have gone onto sign with Polydor. Tomorrow sees the release of their debut EP, 'Night Drive' and you can listen to all four tracks below.
The EP collects a couple of remixes, along with 'Drive' (which I talked a little about in January) and my favourite Alpines track thus far - the majestic 'Ice And Arrows'. I must admit I prefer the demo version of the latter, with the re-recorded EP track upping the moody atmosphere, and losing a touch of the quiet exhilaration of the original.
Don't get me wrong though, it's still very special. This is probably just one of my (infrequent) hipster moments. Enjoy the EP below.
