Among Brothers have just released a new double A-side single, 'I Am Certain'/'I Do Not Believe' on the consistently brilliant Too Pure record label. Unlike many double A-side singles, this effort is also consistently brilliant. Huzzah. Listen below to the orchestrally led, experimental pop tracks.

I saw Among Brothers earlier this year at Festifeel 2012, where they were sadly drowned out by the chatter of people less interested in music, and more interested in drinking. Boo-urns to them. Despite the situation, I was still at least mildly impressed by the band.

They've seemingly gone up a notch since then, with this excellent single. 'I Am Certain' almost sounds like two songs in one - its extended orchestral opening, giving way to math-pop and experimental leanings. With a tasty bit of brass, to boot. On the flip side, 'I Do Not Believe' is indebted to Hans Zimmer, and perhaps even Patrick Wolf - echoing his impressive negotiation of sombre and rousing fare alike.

'I Am Certain'/'I Do Not Believe' is out now. Find more info at amongbrothers.co.uk.
