A few years ago, I briefly worked at a popular semi-independent record store in central London. One of my colleagues was a nice chap called Nick, otherwise known as producer Buddy Peace, who also worked with the likes of Buck 65 and Sage Francis in his other life. Fast forward and he's teamed up with Warren Borg, aka Worgie, to create a debut album of eclectic proportions. And I'm here to tell you about it.

Conglomerating their names isn't the only way warrenpeace are mashing things together, as their six minute live remix video of their forthcoming album below shows. At their core, the duo deliver crashing beats and impassioned vocals, amid flourishes of electro and punk and much, much more. It's dirty, messy, and unmissable.

They even roped in Scroobius Pip on one track, a perk of being on his Speech Development label, which is releasing the 'SDR007' album. Elsewhere, Amy Bullan and Natasha Fox also appear, and you can hear the latter on the hypnotic first single off the album, 'INDOORVOICE', below.
