Razorlight once wrote a song called 'America' and arguably reached their peak when it topped the UK singles chart - eight years ago, bloody hell. Hopefully Helen & The Sirens will be pushing on with their 'America' track, the power-pop-tastic lead on their forthcoming 'Six' EP.
Led by Helen Greenham but emboldened by the all-female gang vocals of her Sirens, the sassy 'America' has odes to the likes of Florence And The Machine and The Pipettes. It's the driven, stadium-pop chorus though that particularly shines and we hope to hear more of the same in future.
