Surfacing: Easy Kill [New Band]

Branding themselves as purveyors of "doom pop" on striking recent EP lead track 'Mould', Mancunian four piece Easy Kill evoke some of the heartfelt darkness showcased by the likes of The National. And yet elsewhere there's (musically, if not lyrically) a hint of optimism, most notably on the To Kill A King-esque 'My Soul He Dances Somewhere' - Easy Kill, complex beast.

Both tracks appear on an EP released through emerging My Little Empire record label, which kicked off strongly at the end of 2014 with a new bands compilation. Listen to both tracks below, and hop along to their debut London show with Mirror Signal, if you can.
