British-born, Brooklyn-based Paul Stanley-McKenzie has had a rich history of collaboration, touring as live drummer with Gorillaz, and acting as a musical director for Jamie xx and FKA twigs. Under his new guise of PAULi, he's carefully chosen his latest collaborator to be Kwes, who produced his forthcoming EP.
'Give Me a Sign' appeared at the end of 2014 and is now followed by 'i DON'T CARE' - an exciting progression. The new track's atmospheric beginnings transforms into something altogether more effervescent, driven by a futuristic electronic infusion and PAULi's matter-of-fact vocal delivery.
