It's only been a few weeks since we last heard from LA's newest bestest band HAIM, and their new Fleetwood Mac-inspired single 'Don't Save Me'. The B-side to that track has reared its excellent head, taking a surprising tack - mixing their usual endearing melodious fare and catchy vocal hooks with a brassy hip hop undertone.

It's becoming increasingly easy and inevitable to obsess about HAIM - a band sure to hit the upper echelons of many a tips for 2013 list. And understandably so, they've truly delivered on the hype that preceded their first UK performances back at The Great Escape, when they burst onto the scene with their debut 'Forever' EP.

The band are currently on a UK tour - judging from past experience, we thoroughly recommend nabbing any remaining tickets to see them live. If you can't make it to one of the dates then listen to 'Send Me Down', along with A-side 'Don't Save Me' below. A somewhat conflicted yet quite brilliant combination.

'Don't Save Me' is scheduled for release on Dec 3rd. Find more info at facebook.com/haimtheband.
