I imagine of the three names on offer here, Captain Cuts will be the most unfamiliar - the production trio have worked with Marina & The Diamonds, Tegan And Sara, and produced Grouplove's two studio albums. In fact, they also produced Smallpools' debut EP, on which 'Mason Jar' appeared. I'd say the remix edges the slightly cheesy original but both versions present a cheery disposition.
