Almost out of nowhere, Tom Vek returned in April with 'A Chore', six whole years since his debut album, 'We Have Sound'. His follow up album, 'Leisure Seizure' arrives next week but the good folk at The Hype Machine are letting us stream the album in full below now.
I've only had time to check out the first half of the album but it's full of pulsating experimental pop tunes, reminiscent of (and including) 'A Chore'. I do however find it curious that Vek's next single is the off-kilter 'World Of Doubt', which had me reaching for the skip button - as it happens, I stopped listening after that but I'd like to think it more an aberration than a declining trend.
