We're big fans of quite a few independent UK record labels. One that's really caught our eye over the last year and a bit is Laissez Faire Club, who this week are releasing the debut single from Jade Hopcroft. But next week, they're releasing an even better debut single by The Divers. Listen to 'A Little Better', an ode to 90s American indie rock, below.
As you hit play on one of the tracks below, you might be surprised to discover that The Divers aren't American. Formerly known as Pete Hickman & The Divers, the London band are obviously indebted to the likes of The Shins and Death Cab For Cutie. And on b-side 'Hang Around', maybe a bit of Elbow to bring us closer to home. Soul-soothing goodness all round.
