The Aussies might be getting stuffed in the cricket right now but it's good to know that their musicians are still on top of their game. Brisbane's MTNS have unveiled their dreamy chillwave debut single, 'Lost Track Of Time'. Have a listen below.
The trio of Tom Eggert, Joseph Thiang, and Robbie Hellberg were formerly known as Mountains before eliminating some vowels/rising from The Ashes as MTNS. Even though there's already an American band of the same name. Putting names to one side, 'Lost Track Of Time' is an excellent opening salvo - slow burning and atmospheric, reminiscent in some ways of Mt. Wolf. Looking forward to more of the same soon enough.
