It was about a year ago at Brighton's Great Escape that we caught the majesty of Ed Riman and his Hilang Child outfit. Alas, there wasn't many people around that day but we're glad to say there's more of the same sound on atmospheric new single 'Thule'.
Built around Ed Riman's beautifully warm vocals and increasingly layered instrumentation, the enveloping 'Thule' slowly soars. Both calming and invigorating, the new track is confirmation of the promise that Hilang Child has shown - colour me surprised that a label like Communion hasn't signed him already.
