Following up 2014's CHVRCHES-esque 'Steal My Car', the opening to Shy For Shore's latest synth-pop gem 'One More Life' is the most sparkling intro we've heard for quite some time. And importantly, it's backed up by the rest of the single.
The upbeat instrumentation contrasts with the lyrics, where 'One More Life' feels most resonant, perhaps related to my recent relationship breakdown. The yearning "how I can't have you to myself again" just one example of why Italians Zero Call recently recruited Mari from the band to lend vocals to their track 'Every Shape'.
