The brains behind San Felu, Patrick James Pearson, has been busying himself over the last couple of years as one part of Liu Bei as well as a live member of Dry The River. More recently, he's co-written and produced Grace Lightman's blogosphere-delighting 'Vapour Trails', a stepping stone to his own solo output. Listen to debut track 'Cape Of Good Hope' below.
There's something particularly melodramatic about 'Cape Of Good Hope', its multi-layered experimental instrumentation a backdrop to Pearson's rich vocals. Elements of Radiohead and The National are apparent, but with a cascading electronic twist that hints at something of considerable ambition.
