You may know Trevor Dahl from his contributions as one-third of US DJ/production collective Cheat Codes, who have delivered a number of hit singles and hot collabs with the likes of Fetty Wap, Little Mix, and Demi Lovato. And perhaps more unexpectedly, an official U2 remix. The eponymous Dahl is a side-step from his ongoing work with Cheat Codes, and we have the first taste of this solo side project in the form of 'Think About Us'.
Sharing much of the same synthy goodness as Dahl's existing material in Cheat Codes, he wrote (and produced etc) 'Think About Us' following the end of a relationship, perhaps lending the track a more personal and emotional connection. We're also hoping for some more anthemic, unashamed pop efforts from Dahl in future to match the aforementioned Fetty Wap-featuring Cheat Codes track 'Feels Great', which expertly does what it says on the tin.
