The demo of 'Open Eyes' eschews the typical Jamie xx production, instead opting to push Romy's vocals into the centre stage, accompanied by a haunting backing melody. It's got that in-front-of-the-fireplace feel, entirely appropriate for this winter season. Let's hope the new album drops sometime in the new year.
