The latest in Bleachers' sold-out vinyl-only series 'Terrible Thrills Vol.3' has finally made its way to fans across the world, and thanks to Twitter user _jspain and Jack Antonoff from the band, we can share the latest material. Listen to Julien Baker's melodic cover of Bleachers' 'Everybody Lost Somebody' below.

Following the release of Bleachers' excellent 2014 debut album 'Strange Desire', they got some pals together to record covers of each of the tracks, releasing the compilation as 'Terrible Thrills Vol. 2'. Follow-up album 'Gone Now' dropped in 2017, and the band are repeating the trick for a limited edition vinyl series - sadly all four releases are sold out already. However, thanks to frontman Jack Antonoff's encouragement, you can listen to the debut 'Terrible Thrills Vol. 3' release, featuring Mitski, below.

Late noughties outfits Dananananaykroyd and Operator Please may not have had all that much in common aside from some serious blog love, but now they've come together (in a sense) as Bossy Love. Combining John Baillie Junior and Amandah Wilkinson from the former and latter outfits respectively, the duo of Bossy Love isn't quite Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul (but who could be?!) yet their own twist on 2003 UK #1 single 'Breathe' is fire.

It's been almost a year since we've heard from London solo artist Chris Cookson, but he's opened 2016 with a bang. New track 'Wild' is a bit of a departure from the more nostalgia-driven 'Pillow Talk' and 'Sophia', which marked Cookson as one to watch. Listen to the new demo below.

Turns out that Radiohead were asked to write a theme tune for the latest Bond movie, 'Spectre', after all. For better or for worse, the people behind the film chose to go with Sam Smith's perhaps unfairly maligned (albeit absurdly melodramatic) 'Writing On The Wall' but now you can hear for yourself whether that was a suitable decision or not. Listen to the discarded 'Spectre' as well as Smith's official effort below.

We caught Daniel Pattison's beguiling first gig as HART earlier in the year at Are You Listening? Festival, and now he's gearing up for an EP release. Following his hypnotic debut track 'Anchor' and 'Song Of Summer' comes 'All I Am', another (successful) collab with Nico Muhly.

One of our most enjoyable acts of the festival season thus far has been Canadian twosome K.I.D, who we caught at The Great Escape in Brighton in May. Their musical vision takes in different approaches, ranging from grunge to RnB, and their latest effort takes on dance - in the form of the Zedd-Selena Gomez collab, 'I Want You To Know'.

Irish synth-pop duo Young Wonder recently released their debut album 'Birth' but they're not resting on any laurels, putting together an atmospheric cover of popular girl band All Saints' seminal 'Pure Shores'. And throwing in a bit of College and Electric Youth's 'A Real Hero' to boot.

There are some acts that you simply look forward to hearing anything new from - Andre Allen Anjos's RAC project is one such act. His 'Strangers' double album last year was a magnificent collection of summery synth-pop, and his latest effort continues that strong work. Check out the glorious remix of Elliphant's 'Never Been In Love', and download the original for free thanks to Sony imprint Kemosabe Records.

A bountiful Sunday it is, what with Jesus and his Easter eggs, as well as Norwegian outfit Team Me giving away some of their excellent tracks in celebration of their forthcoming UK tour dates with The Wombats. Familiarise yourself with the band below.

Oh looky, London quartet Tellison are back. 'Tact Is Dead' is a pay-what-you-want download, and a taste of a forthcoming album that will be coming out at some point, on Alcopop! Records. There's a few UK tour dates and all. Download the new track below.

I have vivid memories of being somewhat befuddled by a clip of 'Donnie Darko' late one night on the BBC film show with Jonathan Ross, and effectively forcing a group of my schoolfriends to see the film with me the next weekend. Followed by a KFC bargain bucket. What a whirlwind day. One of the most lasting impressions from the cult film was Gary Jules and Michael Andrews' dark version of 'Mad World' - synthy duo Treasureseason have made a similarly evocative cover.

Twin Graves got the year off to a strong start with the excellent post-punk-meets-synth-pop of 'Brothers' in January, a cut off their subsequent debut 'Walk In Circles' EP. They're back with a longing new track, 'Love You To Death', which is very kindly being given away as a free download.

Pale first emerged back in 2012, in mysterious circumstances, before quickly disappearing again. Re-emerging soon after with a new "debut" track but with a slowly peeling veil of anonymity, the duo have bubbled along to mild fanfare since. Their debut EP combines old and new tracks, and title track 'Comeback' is perhaps their best offering yet.

Back in 2006, I started this blog - albeit in a slightly different iteration, known as Keep Hope Inside. At the time, one of the most exciting emerging acts was London experimental outfit Mystery Jets. In celebration of Transgressive Records' tenth anniversary, we get our mitts on the previously unreleased 'Anno's Italy' from those embryonic days. Download via the widget below.

We're pretty well aware that we play a fairly insignificant role in the grand scheme of things here at FADED GLAMOUR. But it was rather nice to hear that we helped introduce Brooklyn's Janna Pelle to Mancunian experimentalists boxboxbox - subsequently combining to create a remix of Pelle's 'Living A Lie'. Listen to the original and the new version below.

To celebrate the UK cinema release of 'Benny & Jolene', Los Campesinos! are giving away a song they wrote for the film's soundtrack, 'Little Mouth'. It's not a new track, per se, having been recorded prior to the band's most recent album, 2013's 'No Blues' - but more importantly, it's an enjoyably breezy number.

In the lead up to the upcoming release of debut album 'Galore', London's THUMPERS have unleashed this splendid mash-up of previous single 'Unkinder (A Tougher Love)' with Girls Aloud's 'The Promise'. The track popped up on Huw Stephens BBC Radio 1 show and while we're still not sure who's behind this tasty slice, THUMPERS have made the mash-up available for download.

Mancunian trio boxboxbox recently dropped us a line with their new free EP, 'Dive' and we were suitably impressed. A mesmerising collection of electronica, complete with a tremendous cover of Andrew WK party classic 'I Get Wet'. Compare and contrast the boxboxbox glitchy update with the Andrew WK original below, along with the rest of the EP.

Sheffield sextet Screaming Maldini have undertaken a bit of a project with their twelve-pronged "Miscellaneum of Wonders" - releasing a new track each month across 2014. Their latest addition, the archaically named 'Abyssinia' (the former name of Ethiopia) envelops itself in a sense of glorious melodrama. Better yet, you can download it for free.
