Camilla Roholm

We're big fans of anthemic electro-pop here at FG, and Camilla Roholm is one of the newest proponents of this genre. Emerging at the start of 2012 as Cinnamon Girl, her tracks haven't quite clicked with us until now - her pulsating, hook-led new track 'Devil In Me' can be downloaded for free below.

Born in Denmark but now based in London, Cinnamon Girl is presumably named after the Neil Young track. Perhaps surprising considered her eighties synth influence. She made a minor splash on the blogosphere with 'Friends' earlier this year and while it was decent enough, it's only with 'Devil In Me' that we're giving Cinnamon Girl' the double thumbs up.

Considering Camilla is the sole force behind Cinnamon Girl - writing, recording and producing each of the songs - we're suitably impressed. With a little nudge along the way, 2013 could be a big year for this artist. Perhaps success will even come sooner, 'Devil In Me' certainly has the makings of a summer smash. Not really sure about the patterned leggings in the video below, mind you. I guess you can't have everything.
