Ellen Murphy returns to an RnB-influenced, atmospheric sound that has served her so well in the past on the tender 'Remains'. Listen to the new Only Girl single below, which will be coming out on Akira Records in July.
Following 2014's dance-led 'Feel It' single, 'Remains' harks back to a more contemplative sound, perhaps best heard on the majestic 'Mountain'. That track was inspired by Murphy's other half, recovering from a traumatic accident, and she again reflects on that time of her life in this latest effort. This time however, it is to remind herself to "just stop for a moment and remember the girl I was before".
