Where do we even begin today? We are living in unprecedented times, in the midst of a global pandemic - the news is full of "coronavirus this" or "COVID-19 that". Many cities and countries across the world are on lockdown, residents physically isolated. Fortunately, music still offers an escape of sorts, and Leicester musician Cj Pandit's latest soulful effort 'Digital Love' offers a glimmer of hope in the darkness.
The follow up to Cj Pandit's debut offering, the smooth calypso vibes of 'Karelu', 'Digital Love' is perhaps sadly not a cover of the excellent Daft Punk track. Pandit does wisely however continue with his shades of Bon Iver on heartfelt 'Digital Love', particularly in his use of multi-tracked vocals. It's more than enough to make us wistful for the glory days of MSN Messenger.
