People often bemoan the sheer volume of music (and indeed, entertainment) currently on offer - services like Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Spotify have millions of tracks available. Which is actually kind of great. So much wonderful music out there. We've put together a two-part list of our favourite tracks from 2018, and you can check out the first half below.

And it's something that hasn't escaped The 1975, who have unveiled a thought-provoking (and surprisingly kaleidoscopic) new video for the excellent 'Love It If We Made It'.

Surfacing: The 1975 [New Music]

Manchester's The 1975 have gone under a string of different monikers over the last few years, finally settling on their latest name earlier this year. The band have unleashed a couple of tracks from their debut EP, hinting at a gloriously anthemic electro-pop sound. Listen to the songs below.
