Haiku Hands might be the best new band you haven't yet heard. Or at least the most fun new band. The Aussie trio dazzled UK audiences earlier this year - probably our favourite performance of The Great Escape 2018 - and are heading back for another UK tour beginning imminently. In the meantime, they've put out their latest track, 'Squat', with afro bounce outfit True Vibenation.
Coming together to tell people to loosen up, Haiku Hands and True Vibenation express their plea with the aid of marauding beats and bombastic horns, in this genre-bending effort. 'Squat' is something you'd probably have heard on pirate radio in the early noughties, and we mean that in the best way possible. It's even better live, and Haiku Hands are an absolute must-see - get down to your local gig.
