Benji Schneider released his debut album as Lord Huron earlier this year in his native land of the US to reasonably positive reviews. 'Lonesome Dreams' is yet to reach our shores, arriving on 14th January, but we do have his cover of traditional folk song 'Auld Lang Syne' to bring in the New Year. Download it below.
We've been enjoying Schneider's work since November 2010 and his recent track 'Time To Run' gives us no reason to waiver from our support. The folk-led experimental pop has proved beguiling time and time again.
The Lord Huron version of 'Auld Lang Syne' is relatively unremarkable by comparison (as well as being relatively old) but still a perfectly evocative song for this evening. Have a happy new year!
