Festival Review: Live At Leeds 2016

It's been a long, long time since I was last in Leeds. But the pull of this year's stellar Live At Leeds lineup was enough to convince me that a last minute trip from London was a necessity. A trip from London that included tube, coach, and train travel, and a stay in a £30 B&B in Huddersfield. Totally worth it.

I must admit that I'm pretty taken aback by the amount of attention London act Shura has received in the last couple of weeks. But very much in a good way, as it's culminated in well over 100,000 Soundcloud plays of her latest track 'Touch' - moving away from her previous night-folk efforts and more into the realm of R&B, led by her continually haunting vocals. Check out the new snog-infused video for 'Touch' below.

I've found myself quite entranced by Shura's self-described "night folk", having stumbled upon her work in collaboration with Hiatus, who we've praised in the past for his "moody electronica".
