Now firmly established as one of London's finest one-day festivals, the Communion Records-run Bushstock once again descends on Shepherd's Bush. The festival typically has a strong dedication to new music, much like the mid-noughties clubnights that spawned the Communion brand, previously featuring on-the-rise acts such as Bastille and Daughter before they hit big. We've highlighted a few of our choice bands from the 2017 line up below:

More than thirty bands and plenty of eager punters descended on West London for Bushstock 2015. The Communion Records-run festival felt bigger than ever before, even (very successfully) debuting an outdoor stage, while also moving further away from its folk image. As has become an annual rite of passage, I picked up my wristband at St Stephen's Church before entering for my first act of the day.

The Communion Records-led Bushstock Festival enters its fifth edition in 2015, with over thirty bands playing across six venues in West London. Sun and music descended upon Shepherd's Bush last Saturday, as Bushstock Festival returned for its third year. The Communion Records-led festival brought perhaps its most diverse array of artists to the fore in 2013, from its usual folk fare to more experimental offerings such as the upcoming Pixel Fix. Dare we say it but Bushstock is no longer the young pretender to the bigger budget London festivals.

Bushstock is fast becoming one of the most popular London music festivals, returning for its third edition in June. Taking over four venues in the Shepherd's Bush area, the festival has previously seen the likes of BASTILLE and Daughter play in intimate settings before gaining huge audiences. Indeed, Daughter returned last year to headline, providing a mesmerising performance at St Stephens Church.
